The trainings consist of the most current and relevant need-to-know information. The trainings costs of a guided presentation video, training outline, and resource links. The cost is only $39.00 one-time fee per training! Most training videos are 30 to 60 minutes in length.

About the Director, David D. Luxton, PhD., M.S.

David D. Luxton, Ph.D., M.S., is a nationally recognized expert, consultant, and trainer in suicide prevention, telehealth, and innovative technologies in behavioral healthcare. He is Affiliate Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Dr. Luxton previously served as a Research Health Scientist at the Naval Health Research Center in San Diego, CA and Research Psychologist and Program Manager at the National Center for Telehealth and Technology (Defense Health Agency), Joint-Base Lewis McChord. He has authored numerous scientific and policy-level publications, and four books: Artificial Intelligence in Behavioral and Mental Health Care (2015), A Practitioner’s Guide to Telemental Health (2016), Behind the Machine (2020), and The Goldilocks Zone (2021). He has consulted widely on the topic of military and veteran’s health and technology in healthcare, and has helped to develop national guidelines for telemental health and clinical best practices for technology-based treatments. He is a recipient of the American Psychological Association Division 19 (Military Psychology) Arthur W. Melton Award for Early Career Achievement. Dr. Luxton is a licensed clinical psychologist, a U.S. Air Force veteran.
